Package A: Mock EHO Inspection

£245 + VAT

For an established food business that wants a practical check before its next EHO visit.

  • Pre-inspection review of Safer Food Better Business (SFBB) or HACCP records.
  • A 2–2.5 hour on-site mock EHO inspection.
  • A comprehensive action plan and guidance on inspection readiness. Any rating indication is independent guidance, not an official or guaranteed score.

Package B: Crisis & Urgent Remediation Visit

£395 + VAT

For a business that needs help addressing a poor inspection result.

  • Emergency support following a poor local-authority rating, such as a 1 or 2.
  • Priority on-site visit within 24–48 hours, subject to availability. Call Olga to confirm an urgent slot.
  • A practical corrective-action plan to help prepare for a re-rating request.
  • Direct liaison or guidance on dealing with the local EHO.

New Premises: Pre-Opening Inspection

£259 + VAT

For a new restaurant, takeaway or food preparation area before its first official Environmental Health inspection.

  • Pre-inspection review of SFBB or HACCP records.
  • A 2–2.5 hour on-site food-hygiene inspection.
  • Review of the premises, food-safety systems, records, working practices, allergen controls and staff readiness.
  • A comprehensive practical action plan before the local-authority inspection.

Travel time and location charges

  • Local travel: travel within the 15-mile local zone from CM23 2TH is included. Tell us your postcode so we can confirm whether your premises fall within the zone.
  • Mileage beyond the local zone: 55p per mile + VAT for the chargeable distance outside the 15-mile radius.
  • Additional travel time: £45 per hour + VAT, charged pro rata for travel time beyond 30 minutes each way.
  • London and parking: applicable ULEZ, Congestion Charge and parking costs may be added, depending on the vehicle, visit and location. These will be set out in your quote.

Your quote will explain the service, return travel, applicable location charges and VAT. A request does not reserve a visit until Olga confirms it. No online payment is required to enquire.

Language support for your team

Olga provides Russian and Lithuanian translation and can speak and understand Polish, helping your team follow food-safety guidance.

How your estimate is calculated
  • Mileage within the 15-mile radius is included. Estimated road distance outside that radius is charged at 55p per mile, on both outward and return legs.
  • The first 30 minutes each way is included. Additional estimated travel time is charged at £45 per hour, pro rata.
  • Travel times use a road-routing estimate, without live traffic. The visit date, traffic, exact address and chosen route can change the final quote.
  • If the estimated route enters a London charging zone, a separate allowance is shown: ULEZ up to £12.50 and Congestion Charge up to £18 for a same-day visit. ULEZ depends on our visiting vehicle; Congestion Charge depends on the time of entry and any applicable discount or exemption. These are checked before booking.
  • Package, mileage, travel time and recharged expenses are shown before VAT, with 20% VAT added to the total. Unknown parking, other road tolls, overnight or multi-day travel are not included.
